Hanna Bekkema
Background
Hanna Bekkema has been an attorney at Sparkel since 2026. In addition to her legal practice, she has worked as a community mediator since 2024, giving her a strong ability to quickly identify the core of a dispute and the underlying interests of the parties involved.
Areas of expertise
Hanna has registered Employment Law as her principal area of practice in the legal practice areas register of the Dutch Bar Association (Nederlandse orde van advocaten). As part of this registration, she is required to obtain twenty continuing education credits each calendar year in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association, at least ten of which must relate to her registered principal area of practice.

Hanna advises and represents both employers and employees on a broad range of employment law matters, including dismissal cases and issues relating to alleged discrimination.
Education and Memberships
Hanna obtained a Master’s degree in Employment Law from Leiden University and a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution, Judiciary and Mediation from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. . She is a member of the Vereniging van Jonge Arbeidsrecht Advocaten (VJAA) and the Vereniging voor Arbeidsrecht (VvA).
